Health Week 2010
The marketing team was in frontline for the coordination, planning and making it happen.
The hospital annual free medical covered five sites starting 11th-15th 2010.Namely Machewele, Kipkaren, Kamukuywa, Sinoko and Malava, covered by 30 hospital staffs.
The hospital offered all services to the community ranging from clinical services, laboratory, Pharmacy, Eye clinics, dental clinics, cervical cancer screening, Antennal care clinics, voluntary testing and counseling centres, Child welfare clinics, and family planning clinics.
There were also massive health education exercises and Health insurance schemes covered by NHIF
Our major partners whom we appreciate highly for the success of the exercise were National bank, Aphia II Western, Webuye District Hospital through the DPHN Office, MOH Kakamega North at Malava district Hospital West FM radio among others.
The week long exercise was a major success with over three thousand patients treated. Sinoko produced the highest number of patients attendance at 799, Kamukuywa at 667, Malava at 567, Machwele at 525 and finally Kipkaren at 445 patients.
